FOCHO
“...we were excited by the potential that Kyle and Jamie’s approach offered us.”
Andrew Macintosh, FOCHO
The Friends of the Caird Hall Organ (FOCHO) was set up in 2010 to support and promote the magnificent organ in the Caird Hall in Dundee. FOCHO was keen to develop a meaningful web presence and we initially approached iGiveADamn with a view simply to designing our website. However, we were excited by the potential that Kyle and Jamie’s approach offered us.
"The world of new media is a minefield for charities, especially those like ours which are small and run by volunteers. It can be hard to explain the benefits to those who are not familiar with it, and the process of becoming involved in many different platforms can be daunting. We were impressed at the way in which iGiveADamn was aimed at making this approachable, and this attitude also informed their creation of a website for FOCHO that has proved to be a versatile and useful tool for us, providing us with the flexibility to allow any user to add events or news items in a straightforward way, and giving us the potential to expand our presence in the future. It has also given us the confidence to use new media channels as an essential part of our publicity strategy."
