We are currently looking for charities to help pilot test the service. Charities who sign up will have full access to our website where they will be able to add News, Events and Volunteering Opportunities.
In January we will be introducing an iPhone application for each charity taking part in the pilot scheme. This will be made available for supporters to download. We will be gradually adding features in phases. This will include support for other mobile phones, desktop widgets and social networking.
PAMIS has been working for several years to get the standards for Changing Places toilets included in the building regulations. Without Changing Places toilets people with profound and multiple learning disabilities, as well as people with physical disabilities such as spinal injuries, multiple sclerosis & muscular dystrophy are forced to stay at home or their family carers have to resort to changing them on dirty toilet floors.
The annual SCALP Charity Ball is being held at the Hilton Hotel, Glasgow on Saturday 12 September 2009. The band booked to dance the night away to are 'Ceilidh Minogue'. We have had a great response and tables are being booked fast.
